Lesson 3
Activity 3 - TV GFX Research
- Independently complete the activity as seen below in the student exemplar.
- Research online and save to your student # folder, 1 example of each of the 5 common types of TV graphics.
- You can complete this activity in Photoshop or Google Doc. If using Photoshop, use rulers, smart guides and snap to (View drop down menu) neatly align all 5 images and titles within your document.
- Label each of 5 types of graphics below each image.
Activity 4 - News Reporter: On-camera Stand Up
1. In teams of 3 students, each students must fulfil one of the following production roles:
- Reporter
- Camera Operator
- Audio Operator
3. Camera Operator will frame the Reporter in both a "Medium Shot" (MS) and "Medium Close Up Shot" (MCU) in each location.
4. Reporter must perform on camera, the provided script to a performance level to the best of their ability.
5. Each team will require the following equipment items:
- Camera w/ battery
- SD card
- Headphones
- Boom Mic w/ battery
- Boom pole
- XLR 3 - 3.5mm audio cable
- Reporter Script
