- This presentation will explain in detail each of the four career pathways :
- Workplace
- Apprenticeship (ie: Skilled Trades)

- University
Career Interests & Exploration Assignment Requirements:
Students are to independently create a visual engaging and informative, Google Slide presentation, based on one career related technical subject pathway. Ensure you include high quality visuals you have researched online. Save and include the sources/references for each of these visuals in the proper slide. It will also be very important that this assignment is typed in your own words and you have taken the time to check for proper spelling and grammar. The presentation is to include the following:
1. Main Title Slide
2. Assignment Contents Slide
3. Career Description and Responsibilities
4. What interests you the most about this career and why?
5. High School Course Options
6. Post Secondary Pathway Details (College, University, Apprenticeship, Workplace)
- Research post secondary education options for your chosen communications technology career path. List two educational programs (either a college or university) that you believe would help you to prepare for a potential career in your chosen career path. Provide the following information for both post secondary programs:
- Program name
- A brief two to three sentence description of the program (ie: overview, courses studied etc.)
- Program entry requirements (ie: secondary courses and grades, interview, portfolio etc.)
- The city and province (or state if in the USA) the program is located
- Length of program (ie: weeks, months, years)
- Total cost of program (ie: add each years costs together)
- List two current career/job postings for this career.
- Which companies have posted these two careers/positions and where are they located (ie: city etc.)?
- What skills are required in order to be successful in this career?
- What salary range should you expect for this career?
9. Interview Questions - If you could interview someone in that career right now, what four questions would you ask them? Ensure you do not ask questions that can be answered with “yes” or “no.”
