Assignment: Weather Graphics (Photoshop)
Details:
This is an independent Photoshop assignment that will be used collaboratively within their production teams. Students will use images, shapes and text to create three weather graphics to be used for a weather presenter segment in their team TV show production. There is a lot of learning in this assignment as students work through the creation of the three weather graphics:
A.) Current conditions (Brampton, ON);
B.) Your choice of: Weather Radar or Current Conditions for an international city;
C.) 3 Day forecast (Brampton, ON).

These three weather graphics will act as the background images as students present their weather report in front of green screen in the tv studio...just like professional weather presenters!!!

Downloading images and videos for educational purposes
All media on the internet (or sourced elsewhere) is owned by the content owners. These can be individuals or companies who have created the creative content or purchased the rights.
To use downloaded media for school projects all of the following conditions below must be met:
- Used for educational and research purposes - can't download media for your own use (i.e.: music for your personal device.)
- Only a portion of content can be used (i.e.: part of a song.)
- Cannot post the media outside the closed Peel District School Board (PDSB) network (i.e.: post to youtube.)
- Must cite the creators of the content - usually in the credits (i.e.: A. Music Company, B. Artist Name, and C. Song Name)
Remember...downloading content like movies and music for personal use breaks copyright laws.
